EMERGENCY
LIGHTS
INSTALLATION
For an
emergency lighting system to work correctly, it is important
that the installation is carried out by competent electrical
engineers.
Our engineers have the capability to install your lighting
plan with
the minimum of disruption.
At each
stage of the installation care is taken to keep to the original
design plan and meet the requirements of BS5266-1:1999.
As we
are not tied to one supplier we are able to offer a wide
choice of emergency lights from twinspot, standard bulkheads,
fluorescent strips with battery backup and a range of decorative
lights with battery backup and matching mains powered lights
At the end of the installation the system will be commissioned
and
a formal handover to the client will take place including
the presentation
of all relevant certificates and instructions on the self-testing
of the lights.
MAINTENANCE
All emergency
lighting systems should be serviced in accordance
with BS5266-1:1999 at least every 6 months.
Regular
maintenance is important to ensure that your investment
will continue to function correctly and is still fit for purpose.
It will also identify any variations from the standard that
may arise
from changes that may be made to building layouts or uses.
Regular
maintenance visits from one of our engineers also means
that our clients have the opportunity to refresh their knowledge
of
how often they should complete the regular self checks.
