M & G Fire Protection (Essex) Ltd can provide a selection of training
programmes with the two by far most common being the following.


USE OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

The course would include :

• Basic theory of fire, how it starts, how its spreads, the elements
required to support combustion.

• Selection of extinguishers, how to choose the right type and how
to operate them safely.

• The course can also include the extinguishment of a controlled
live fire by the participants.

The course is carried out at the clients premises and is subject to
their being adequate space and is obviously weather dependant.


FIRE MARSHALL

This course typically includes the following
and can be tailored to the clients existing procedures.

• Theory of fire, how it starts, how it spreads,
the elements required to support combustion.

• Fire Prevention from day-to-day.

• Effective fire marshalling, including day-to-day duties and
evacuation procedure duties.

• Review of fire procedures and how to review them on an
ongoing basis.

• The planning and evaluation of evacuation exercises.
